Big news is coming out of the MiniCo and Mini-Storage Messenger camp recently. The focus towards online commerce is seen in their newly launched efforts. This self storage industry magazine and its publisher have recently launched a free digital app earlier this month and right on the heels of that, they announced that they are selling a book by Nick Nicholas titled “How to Build and Market a 5-Star Online Reputation.”

MiniCo announced earlier in the week that they were launching a free digital app. This app can be downloaded from Apple Newsstand, Google Play and Amazon. From there, users can download either a subscription or just a single use of the Mini-Storage Messenger publications.

“According to a new study by the Alliance for Audited Media (AAM), publishers have embraced tablets and smartphones as an integral part of their cross-platform publishing strategies. In fact, 90 percent of survey respondents reported that they now have a mobile presence. Given these findings, we decided it was time for ‘Messenger’ to join the digital ranks,” said MiniCo Publisher Poppy Behrens in a recent press release.

This mobile app isn’t just for reading. Subscribers will have the opportunity to view videos and see advertisers’ websites. Having this available to advertisers is certainly a benefit for them as well. As the product evolves, more options will become available.

The Nicholas book “How to Build and Market a 5-Star Online Reputation” also demonstrates the importance of conducting business online and maintaining a quality reputation. The book may be purchased for $29.95 from Ministoragemessenger.com. According to a recent press release, the topics in the book that are covered are:

  •     Assessing and monitoring an online reputation
  •     Listing a business online
  •     Maximizing advertising and promotion dollars
  •     Identifying roadblocks to customer rentals
  •     Understanding how changes at Google affect online visibility
  •     Preempting the competition
  •     Utilizing consumer review sites effectively

Mini-Storage Messenger and its publisher MiniCo demonstrate how they are embracing the current trends of going digital with these two recent efforts. With mobile technology becoming so widespread and with website building and enhancing so important, the companies are keeping up with the times and helping others to do so as well.
