Today, USstoragesearch.com is releasing its new suite of online marketing programs for self-storage owners, operators, and managers. The new offerings were built to provide more rentals for storage facilities and will take the place of our legacy programs.
“We’re excited about the release of a new product line at USstoragesearch.com,” said Nick Bilava, director of sales and marketing with B² Interactive, the parent company overseeing operations of USstoragesearch.com. “Each membership is designed to help storage operators bring in new tenants in a way that’s beneficial for their business and their market. Our goal for USstoragesearch.com has always been to provide a great return on investment and help storage operators bring in new tenants for years to come.”
Our three listing options for storage facility operators are Basic, Network, and Network Plus.
“Basic Membership” is the simplest option and resembles what we first offered upon USstoragesearch.com’s launch 10 years ago. This program includes unlimited traffic opportunities, including all calls and quote requests, at a flat monthly rate, that’s easy for owners and operators to budget for each month. Member facilities will also be listed on our web directory.
“Network Membership” will list storage facilities on USstoragesearch.com, as well as on all partner and affiliate websites. Back in 2008, we began building a network of partner and affiliate sites that’s expanded to over 2,000 sites in just six years. Network gives storage operators instant access to the largest network of sites that are meant to help operators find new tenants. Also, Network Membership uses a pure pay-for-performance model where you only pay for each new and unique reservation at your facility.
“Network Plus” is the best option if you’re looking to get the most visibility for your facility. These member facilities receive premium placement on our website directory and within the USSS network for the same pay-for-performance model utilized in the Network program, as well as a small monthly fee.

These product lineup changes provide benefits to consumers who reserve storage units on our shop-and-compare website as well. In the past, we required a small deposit with a credit card to book a storage unit online or over the phone. Now, this requirement has been waived. Consumers will be able to reserve a storage unit at any facility in just minutes without having to leave a deposit or give credit card information.
Current members who already fall within our standard rate-card will not need to do anything to receive the new program benefits offered by USSS. These members will see savings in their monthly fees immediately to go along with the increase in new reservations. During the month of March, our sales team will be working directly with all members to transition to the new programs.
Other changes being made to USstoragesearch.com under B² Interactive’s direction include;
- Termination of the full-service, call-center services effective 1/31/14
- Termination of call recording and call auditing services, which includes call tracking services included or bundled in prior offerings effective 2/28/14
- Termination of the “Featured Listing” program effective 3/31/14
All other programs and services will remain unchanged.
