We’ve all asked the question: “What is the best way to close self storage leads from the internet?”  The good news is we have an action item that will help you greatly increase the percentage of these storage inquiries moving in to your facility.  So what is the secret you might be asking:


RESPONSE TIME!!!

 

I can’t get any more blatant that that.  When customers are searching online for self storage, they want immediate answers to their questions.  If you don’t get back with these customers in a timely manner, it’s off to the next storage facility on the list.  I always suggest a quick introduction email or phone call within 10-15 minutes of the inquiry.  Phone calls are my personal preference as they give you a better opportunity to sell your storage facility.  The bottom line is if you don’t take internet leads seriously, these customers will find the next facility on the list who will.  If you want to increase the amount of self storage leads you are converting into rentals; I would suggest working on your response time to the leads.
