The Arizona Self Storage Association (AZSA) celebrates its 15th year of hosting their annual conference and trade show this year on May 14-15 in Chandler, Arizona. To help make this event special, they have opted for a new format. As recently announced, this year the conference will feature a speech from Kirk Matson and a silent auction will be held that will benefit Kure-It Cancer Research. The two-day event brings together industry individuals in one place for an opportunity to share information and learn from each other.
“The Oz Principle” author, Matson, from Partners in Leadership, is only one of many great speakers that attendees will be able to listen throughout the event. Other speakers include: Jim Rounds, Senior Vice President and Senior Economist with Elliott D. Pollack and Company, Cushman & Wakefield’s Chris Sonne, Anne Ballard, Joe Schoen, President and CEO of U-Haul International, Hardy Good, Chairman and CEO of MiniCo Asia Ltd, Ben Vestal, President of Argus Self Storage Sales Network, and Bill Alter of Rein and Grossoehme Commercial Real Estate. AZSA’s own Richard Marmor is set to speak about self-storage legal issues.
An annual golf tournament gets this event started on May 13. This is an opportunity to come out early and have a little fun while networking and enjoying the weather. This tournament takes place at the Legacy Golf Resort (a separate registration fee is required).
The conference and trade show is held at Wild Horse Pass Hotel and Casino in Chandler, Arizona. This is a AAA Four Diamond hotel and casino. With eight restaurants onsite and is conveniently located to an outlet mall.
