Online Content: What Consumers Want Vol 4

Thanks for checking back for the fourth step on our series on Online Content– What Consumers Want.  Last week we talked about the second step which was “Online Reservations.” This week we are going to focus on “Social Media”.

Social media is becoming a big hit in advertising.  More and more companies are creating accounts on websites such as Facebook and Twitter.  These sites are free and easy to use.  You use these sites just like you would with your personal accounts.  Here at USstoragsearch.com, we use these sites for tips, news about our site, and things going on in the storage industry.  These sites are also great for making event reminders.  For example, if you are having a self storage auction it Atlanta you can advertise it to people in Atlanta.  Having these two social media accounts are easy to manage.  You can even link them together.  For example, you can link your Facebook page with Twitter.  If you update your status, it will post it on the other site automatically.  Social media sites are also a great way to link back to your website.  This gives your followers a chance to check out your website.
